#Beingaleader means you get tired. Keep going. I’ve touched on this topic before but it’s forefront in my mind. My month has been full of funerals/memorial services. Sometimes you just get tired of it all and want to quit. Is it really worth it? Keep going. Press through. The darkness will dissipate. God’s mercies are new every morning.
#Beingaleader means you might be alone. Keep going. No one might be seeing what you are seeing. They aren’t catching the vision. They may not even want to go where you know it’s best to go. Push. Scratch. Kick. Scream if you have to. Keep going. At some point your team/family/group will see what you see and probably even think it was their idea. But keep going. It is worth it.
#Beingaleader means you are in a battle. Keep going. Sometimes it feels like you’re always fighting to move things forward. Sometimes it is a fight against others. Sometimes it’s against inertia (trying to get things to start moving). Sometimes it’s against ideas that haven’t been tried before. Don’t give up. Keep going. Moses didn’t live on the mountain top. He had to come down and deal with the people to truly show he was #beingaleader. So keep fighting. Keep going.
#Beingaleader means you struggle. Keep going. Sometimes this is with others (as in the battle discussed above) but sometimes it’s an internal, personal struggle for meaning, purpose, motivation etc. The struggle is part of it. Every day is not a victory. In fact, the struggle is what makes the victory sweet. Struggle to come up with your “why?” Struggle to find meaning in the difficulties. But keep going.
#Beingaleader means you keep going. No matter what.
