New Day

#Beingaleader means you need to look at things with fresh eyes. A clean slate. Like it’s a new day. The canvas of a new decade is before us. What do you see? Challenges? Victories? Sadness? Joy? How do you want to spend the next 10 years of your life? What do you want to look back on and say you accomplished?

How does one get fresh eyes? To see things from a new perspective? Some people like to get away and write out thoughts on an annual basis. Some do it in a daily journal of some kind. I find that spurts of time work better for me than routine. Meaning I need longer focused time and not just shorter regular time.

Sometimes #Beingaleader means you need to forget the past. Those things that hindered you. Obstacles that were insurmountable. Shackles that held you back. A new day means all things are new. The old has past. Perhaps its time for you to leave the past behind completely and focus only on what you can do in the future.

If you are able to close the door to the past problems, it’s time to focus on things upcoming that you want to accomplish. What would you do in life if every job paid $100? What do you see yourself doing by the turn of the next decade? Find the passion again. The drive. The things that make it all worthwhile. The reasons you became a leader in the first place.

#Beingaleader means you understand it’s a new day. Use your day wisely.
