#Beingaleader means you are trying to accomplish a goal. To complete a task. But there are some things bigger than that. Bigger questions to ask. What does completion of your life look like to you? What will you have accomplished? What do you want others to feel at the end? This is in fact the ultimate project: your life.
Sometimes it ends suddenly. Sometimes it takes an agonizing amount of time and you wonder if it will ever end. It could be a heart attack or alzheimers. You don’t get to pick. But one thing we do know: at some point your life will reach completion.
This is not intended to be a morbid post. But rather a motivational or inspirational one. One that makes you think bigger than perhaps you normally think. How do you want to be remembered? What do you need to change in your life now in order to meet your final objective?
Those who believe in an afterlife believe that this life is preparation for the main event. For those that don’t believe in an afterlife, you still want to be remembered for something that you did. Something you accomplished. How you lived your life or how you helped others.
#Beingaleader means you think beyond yourself in all aspects. Whether it’s the good of your team. The accomplishment of a goal. Whatever it is. At some point it will be completed. So the question becomes: how do you want to be remembered? As you mull on this, remember that #Beingaleader is about completion. Your project. Your life.
