#Beingaleader means you have impact. Known and unknown. Close and far reaching. Generational.
To me it’s sad that we often only hear of the impact someone had on another person’s life at the funeral of the first person. Regardless, the impact was there. The person might not have even known that they had that impact on another person. Whatever the impact was, it might have been so unseen as important or maybe an action or an inaction was simply noticed by another person and was impacted in that way.
Your impact can be close and far reaching. Someone might know you personally and be impacted within your family or close friendship circles. Someone might read something you wrote and never actually meet you. Or it might be just a story someone tells another person about you or a decision you made that then impacts the new person.
Your impact will be generational. The decisions you make today will have long term impact on someone who is not born yet. Or the same could be said of those who have gone before you that might have impacted where you live, what you do for a living or even the faith stream that you belong to. Acknowledge those that have impacted you. Let them know. And be aware of the impact you bring to others.
#Beingaleader means you have impact. Make it a good one.
