Resilient

#Beingaleader means you need to be resilient. Resilient is defined as the ability to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. Difficult people. Difficult circumstances. Difficult emotions.

#Beingaleader means you have to deal with difficult people. They seem to be everywhere. People you bump into. People on your team. Above you. Below you. We work with them. We live with them. We are them? Dealing with difficult people takes resilience. The ability to withstand and recover. Not letting yourself get beaten down. Not taking long to recover from dealing with them. A positive mindset. The ability to rebound. They are all part of being resilient against difficult people.

#Beingaleader means you have to deal with difficult circumstances. Life if hard. And it’s full of difficulties that impact our health both physically and mentally. Being resilient is the ability to not hold on too tight to what is going on. Not letting it become a physical problem because you have internalized that stress. It’s not the ability to avoid pain. Just the ability to live through it and come out stronger on the other side.

#Beingaleader means you have to deal with difficult emotions. Yours or others. Flare ups. Misunderstanding. Hurt. You don’t necessarily need to turn off the emotions but rather be able to bounce back from them. Resilience. The ability to withstand or recover quickly. Not letting it hold you back. Hold you down. Being able to not just keep going but to bounce back with the fire and energy that once defined your leadership.

#Beingaleader means you need to be resilient. Keep growing in this area.
