Teacher

#Beingaleader means you are a teacher. People will listen to what you have to say. Follow your example. And strive for things you determine to be important.

#Beingaleader means that people will listen to what you have to say. Be careful what you say. Your words should be measured. Congratulatory when earned. Encouraging when needed. Stern when appropriate. But never harsh, rash or mean. Your words should be about building up not tearing down. You should be looking to diffuse rather than ignite.

#Beingaleader means that people will follow your example. Be careful what example you set. You can’t avoid people looking at you differently. People often look to you to see what the standards are. They look to you to see what the tone is going to be. What the response is going to be. You should strive to set a good example.

#Beingaleader means that people will strive for the same things that you say are important. Be careful what you call important. People often use the leader to focus their energy. Focus their goals. Even if they have different priorities than the leader, people often will use the leader’s focus to explain or differentiate their focus. It’s important that you set their focus high.

#Beingaleader means you are a teacher. Be a person worthy of being listened to.
