#Beingaleader means you are bringing value to your clients, customers and team. The value of product. The value of time. The value of cost.
#Beingaleader means you bring the value of product or process to your clients, customers and team. If your product or process is not continually improving then you are going backwards. You cannot effectively lead if you are behind the times in what you are offering. Continue to improve. Continue to get better or more efficient. Strive for excellence. The product or process that you and your team provides must give the value that others want.
#Beingaleader means you bring the value of time. Time spent together. Time spent building a relationship. Time spent training. Effectively using your time. Time is a commodity that should be spent well. Perhaps some of you need to think of time as more important than money and plan a budget for your time as you do with your money. It’s not just about wasting time on non-productive things but could instead be about spending the right amount of time with the right people to have the most impact. That might mean cutting back on time spent with others.
#Beingaleader means you bring the value of cost. You might not always be the cheapest price but being the best can still save your customers money in the long run. Cost vs. price. I find that many people misunderstand this concept. They think paying someone $15 per hour is better than paying someone $50 per hour. But it all depends on how much time they spend and what quality of outcome you want in the end. The $50 per hour person might often be your cheapest alternative and best overall value.
