#Beingaleader means you have to adapt. Become adjusted to new conditions. Make changes on the fly. And recognize that while you are adapting to your own new things so too must you adapt to the changes that others are experiencing on your team.
#Beingaleader means you have to adjust to new conditions. Things change. All the time. And you must change with them. Old methodologies don’t work anymore. Things that motivated others don’t motivate them anymore. Change is a constant. So must your adaptability be. This isn’t talking about managing change. It’s about managing your response to change. It’s a choice you will have to make.
#Beingaleader means you have to make changes on the fly. Some change comes at you fast and furious while other times it is slow and imperceptible for a long period of time. Don’t allow yourself to get overwhelmed and miss the change that has happened. Ideally, you can respond in the moment and make the course corrections needed. If not, make the changes as soon as possible. Adapt and continue.
#Beingaleader means you have to recognize the impact of changes to you and changes to those on your team. Your team is changing at the same time you are. The goal is to find the balance where your communication and plans with each other are still in sync and allow for everyone to move forward and make progress together. Always remember that however change is affecting you, it’s affecting those on your team as well.
#Beingaleader means you have to adapt. And that never changes.
