Testing

#Beingaleader means that you will go through testing. Physical testing. Testing by pressure. Spiritual testing.

#Beingaleader means that you will experience physical testing: about your abilities and stamina. By the very nature of #Beingaleader, you will have your abilities and stamina tested. Are you able to take what you’ve learned in one circumstance and apply it to another area? Can you achieve a bit more this time than last? Are you able to have the staying power or stamina needed when everyone else wants to quit? These are various physical tests you will encounter. Acknowledge them. Grow from them.

#Beingaleader means that you will experience testing by pressure: time, mental and emotional pressure. We all have deadlines. Often competing ones. Overlapping responsibilities that seem to drain you both mentally and emotionally. Will you persevere? Will you put one foot in front of the other and keep going? #Beingaleader means you need to keep going. Enduring the moment. Thriving as a result.

#Beingaleader means that you will experience spiritual testing: testing of your faith and beliefs. What do you really believe? On whom can you really count? There is a story in the Gospel of John that really hits this home. In Chapter 6, Jesus said some hard things to those that were following Him. As a result, many people left. So He turned to those closest to Him and asked “Are you also going to leave?” At this point, Peter (the leader of the group) said these words that have stuck with me for many years that give us a sense of faith and hope in what we believe. He said “to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.” Do you see the testing of their faith and hear the resolve in his voice? #Beingaleader means you need that kind of resolve. Regardless of what you see around you or what others may do, you keep going on what you believe you are called to do.

#Beingaleader means you will go through testing. Summon the strength to make the grade.
