Not arrogance. It’s not about other people or a comparison to them. It’s about your confidence in your abilities and decision-making based upon experience and a track record.
Confidence in your team. Their skills and their dedication. You need this confidence in them or you need another team. Confidence comes from knowing they have the tools and the will to make something happen. Confidence in their experience and track record even if it is shorter than yours. Confidence that you’ve trained and prepared them for the task.
Confidence in the future. Why else are you working so hard to make something happen if you don’t believe in the future? So many people are affected by whatever current cultural shifting is taking place that they are losing confidence in their future. You need to recapture this or you will lose motivation to seek improvement.
