#Beingaleader means you have to be quick. Quick thinker. Quick analysis. Quick decision maker. Oftentimes you just don’t have time to step back and wait. Speed gets you to the finish line. Quickness gets you to the win.
A quick thinker is the one who sees the various possibilities before others. You look at a situation, whether it’s new or not, and you make a quick assessment of how to apply previous experience to this new situation. A quick thinker is someone who doesn’t let previous bad experience hold them back or paralyze them into inaction. A quick thinker is sharp, sees through the chatter and gets to the heart of the matter.
But then you have to apply that quick analysis and often make a quick decision. A quick decision maker is someone who is willing to take risks often based upon incomplete and sometimes contradictory information. You can’t allow those things to slow you down. The more decisions you make the higher the batting average. If you make very few decisions then the ones you make escalate in importance and failure becomes closer to a reality than otherwise should be.
