No

#Beingaleader means you need to become comfortable with saying “No”. It can be very freeing. Not being led down a path you don’t want to go. Not being forced to spend time on things that you aren’t meant to do.

Sometimes the smallest things bring the biggest impact. “No” is a small but powerful word. It opens doors like time availability; focused energy on the important things; and often saving you from heartache or headache from others.

But saying “no” can be very difficult for some. It implies (and often feels like) you are disappointing someone else. Maybe someone you care about. But maybe not. Sometimes you just feel the pressure to do something even though you know it’s not for you to do.

But opportunity awaits. Saying “no” to one thing can lead to other open doors that are so much better. Doors that you never would have found if you kept on saying “yes” to everything. Perhaps you now have time to see what you otherwise would have missed. Perhaps saying “no” to the good opens up opportunities to experience the better or even the best. Try it and see.

#Beingaleader means you need to become comfortable with saying “No”. It’s a powerful word.
