#Beingaleader means you need to become comfortable with saying “Yes”. It can be very freeing. Not being led down a path you don’t want to go. Not being forced to spend time on things that you aren’t meant to do. But focused on the things you say “yes” to.
Sometimes the smallest things bring the biggest impact. “Yes” is a small but powerful word. It opens doors like time allocation; focused energy on the important things; and often saving you from heartache or headache from others.
But saying “yes” can be very difficult for some. It implies (and often feels like) you are disappointing someone else while choosing instead what you need to be doing. Maybe someone you care about. But maybe not. Sometimes you just feel the pressure to do one thing and not the other even though you know it’s not for you to do.
But opportunity awaits. Saying “yes” to one thing can lead to other open doors that are so much better than you ever thought possible. Trying something new perhaps. Doors that you never would have found if you kept on saying “no” to everything. Perhaps you now you can focus on new things that you previously never thought possible. Perhaps saying “yes” to something new opens up opportunities to experience things that will change the direction of your life. Try it and see.
