Talent

#Beingaleader means you have a talent or two. Or three. Yes, you do. You have things you excel at. Things that you do better than others. Things that come easy to you.

Why is it so easy to view others as having talent (s) but not yourself? I often see it as false humility, where you don’t accept a compliment or you deflect it to someone else. But it’s not always false humility. Sometimes it’s just that you have less respect for who you are then you should. Not esteem. Respect. An honest reflection of your giftings and talents. Things that you’re good at.

#Beingaleader means you need to recognize your talent so that you can exploit it, implement it. Use it. Your talent is something that should be trained, focused and even pushed to it’s limits. That is excelling. People say ‘raw’ talent for a reason. It means we see what’s there but it needs attention. It needs watering. Exercise. At the beginning of this new year, let’s focus on our talents.

#Beingaleader means you have talent. Recognize it. Train it. Use it.
