Depth

#Beingaleader means you need to have depth. Time to think. Time to analyze. Time to problem solve. Depth of thought. Depth of focus. Depth of wisdom.

Depth of thought. Do you take the time to think through things? Do you really? Or do you just react? Time to think requires you to go deep. To think beyond what you currently see in front of you. To see the future. To see beyond the problem. Thoughts create options. Options create opportunities to win.

Depth of focus. This focus helps you to analyze the situation from multiple angles and viewpoints. And it creates opportunity to see new things. New possibilities. New outcomes or solutions. Laser focusing on a problem or area that you need to deal with allows you to handle it in a quicker time frame than dealing with ten problems at once. Laser focus helps you handle one problem at a time or at least providing your brain with focus for the moment to handle that one situation.

Depth of wisdom. But the understanding only matters if you apply it wisely. Knowledge comes and then comes the understanding. Understanding comes and then comes the wisdom. Wisdom is the application of that knowledge and understanding. Going deep into your knowledge creation and understanding creates a reservoir of what you might need for future situations. And applying that wisdom in the right time. But waiting until the need arises is too late. Depth takes time.
