Unique

#Beingaleader means you are unique. One of a kind. Broke the mold kind of leader. Whether you feel it or not. Whether you view that as a positive or not. Even whether you agree with it or not. It’s still true. You are unique.

Yes, we learn from others. Yes, we learn new skills. Yes, we continue to grow from our mistakes. Yes. Yes. Yes. But, be you. Be who you are created to be. You are unique.

While learning from others is very important, you must still be you. There is no one else who is quite as suited for the leadership you have before you. Parenting. Ministry. Corporate. No one has the skill mix that you have. The exact temperament needed. Your unique perspective. You are unique.

So stop trying to be someone else. Take what they can teach you and apply it in your own way. Improve. Get better. Pass on what you know to others. But be you. Be unique.
