#Beingaleader means you need to be on fire. On fire means that you are playing or working extremely well. On fire for what you do, who you do it with and for what purpose.
Be on fire for what you do. What you do matters. But often we forget the impact on our team or others. Perhaps you are making a widget but that widget is providing a need that someone has. Perhaps you are providing a service that others need. Perhaps you’re driving others or packages around or meeting with vendors. Be on fire for what you do.
Be on fire for who you do it with or for. If you can’t be on fire for your team or employees, then maybe you’re not doing what you should be doing. But at the very least, you have people you are doing this for. Think about them and do whatever it takes to make their life better by being on fire for them.
Be on fire for a purpose. This is very important for most of us but is often the thing that is missing for most of us. Having a purpose. Purpose creates motivation. Motivation creates energy. Energy creates fire. Being on fire for a cause.
