#Beingaleader means you are often uncertain. Uncertain about what to do. Uncertain about next steps. Uncertain about your leadership.
Every leader has found themselves in a place where they are uncertain about what to do. They are facing a conflict they’ve never faced before. They are facing uncertain markets that they have never experienced before. They have experienced a loss of some kind. All of these things can make them uncertain.
Every leader has also found themselves in a place where they are uncertain of what their next step should be. Should they move? Should they take that new opportunity? Should they fire a difficult client?
All of this uncertainty can lead to questioning your own leadership. Am I good enough? Do I have what it takes? I just don’t know what to do? And a myriad of other questions that can weigh you down and make you uncertain about #beingaleader.
The reality is all leaders have levels of uncertainty at different times and junctures. Life events can lead to creating a sense of uncertainty but at the same time you need to look back on your track record and those people that you have influenced over time and successes that you have achieved to know that this uncertainty is a blip and not something that will linger for too long.
#Beingaleader means you are often uncertain. Know that it’s normal and you’re going to be okay.
