To steward your team is to care for them. To train them. To act like what they do is as important as anything you have going for yourself. Steward as if it’s your own. Manage them. Lead them. Be a steward.

To steward your client is to care for their work product. Their costs. Their priorities. as if they were your own. Steward as if they are your own. Manage them. Lead them. Be a steward.

Stewarding things and people are important to their success and to your success. To treat someone’s priorities as your own is the basis of team success. And the basis for your success.
