#Beingaleader means that timeliness is an important quality you have. When something happens, and in what order, often matters. Turning in an “A” paper late is an “F” in many cases. Timeliness matters.
There is a sequence to life and to most projects. There is often a life cycle for the team. #Beingaleader means you need to know what that cycle is. And where you, the project, or your team is in that cycle in order to effectively lead that team.
Timeliness is also defined as knowing when something is best to be done. Meaning, it could be done some other time, but with less effectiveness than at the optimal time. For example, you can compliment someone on your team at any time. But complimenting them in a timely manner for hard work done is apt to get more impact. Saying good job after a hard won project has more impact than saying the same thing when nothing is really on the line.
Giving accurate and timely information can inform your client about whether to buy now or wait. Timeliness of the information could make or break the deal. Certain information delivered late could raise the price or scuttle the entire deal.
