#Beingaleader means you need to have passion. Passion for what you are doing. Passion for who you are doing it with. And passion for where you want to go.
Passion is having an enthusiasm for something, a desire for something, that is so strong that many of the roadblocks that are inevitable seem not worthy of mentioning. Passion enables you to give it your all. To go above and beyond while you are stretching for a goal. Passion can drive you to excellence.
But what are you passionate about? Some are driven by the destination. Others by the journey. Some are passionate about the relationships they develop while others are driven more by the results. Whatever it is that drives you, let it sustain you whenever you go through hard times. Because those times will come. Passion alone isn’t sufficient but trying to accomplish something without it will create burnout.
