#Beingaleader means you sometimes need to re-invent yourself. To re-invent means to make new again. To invent again. It’s not that everything before was wrong or bad. It’s just that you need to re-invent yourself for the future. For the next steps. For the future.
Sometimes you need to change something so much that it appears new to you or others. Be it a process. A product. Or even a habit in your own life. You reach a place in your life or your career or the marketplace where newness is critical for your survival or, at the very least, your growth. You must re-invent yourself or that process or product to stay relevant.
So how does one re-invent something? First, you need to recognize the need for change. That’s often the most difficult step. Sometimes you recognize stagnation. Sometimes you just see something that has plateaued and you want more. Second, you must be able to breakdown your product, process or yourself into easily defined steps so that you can identify where the change needs to occur. Breaking things into steps is critical to coolly and pragmatically analyzing your process for potential growth or change. Finally, you need to create something new that will create a new and different outcome than you are currently seeing.
Recognize the need. Breakdown the process into manageable steps. Create something new within those steps. Re-invent.
#Beingaleader means you need to re-invent yourself. Go for what’s next.
