#Beingaleader means you need to be you. In the moment of crisis. In the moment of celebration. In the moment you least expected. The real you will come out. It always does.
You can’t help being you. You can fake you for a time. You can show others a different you for a time. But in the end, you can’t escape you. Your true colors will eventually show. It might be a sudden event. Something unexpected happening. A sudden loss. Whatever happens that breaks through the veneer and we find the real you. That’s the one we want to improve.
That’s the person we are trying to improve through this blog. The real you. We are not trying to create a fake you but trying to fundamentally change what it’s like #Beingaleader. To change the impulses. To change the motivations. To improve reactions and everything that does into #Beingaleader.
How a person meets crisis is how you will be defined. Yes you can ask for forgiveness from someone later and that might be necessary. But we are trying to become the most real, the most authentic you, you can be come. That shines through in that moment of crisis. That still treats others well. That doesn’t lash out. That shows a continued fiery spirit that initially drove you to excellence.
#Beingaleader means you need to be the real you. Let’s focus on that.
