#Beingaleader means you need to have great sight. Into your team. Into your direction. To see what is going on around you. Sight into what problems are happening or might happen.
Sight is more than vision. Sight is seeing things that are going on now and how they play into the future. Vision is about creating what you want to see in the future. Sight is seeing things that might be in the way of that vision. Things that need to be course corrected. Sight is seeing and discerning.
To have sight, you need to know your people. Know your team. What might be hindering their performance. What might be causing a roadblock. Spending time with them allows for the opportunity to have sight into these issues and lets you come up with a game plan to tackle those issues.
Without sight, you will stumble. You will falter. People will get in the way and you won’t know why. Fight for sight. Give yourself the time to have sight. Make it a priority.
