Beingaleader means you need to set some goals. Long and short term. Personal. Professional. Family. Business and pleasure goals.
You need to know what you are trying to achieve or attain. Sit down and make a list of the things you want. The things you want to do and accomplish. The places you want to visit. The money you want to earn and have. The books you want to read. The skills you want to learn. Categorize them by time frame of your ability to accomplish. Can they be accomplished in a year? Will it take five years or ten?
But you also need to know the why for you want to achieve or attain. Look at your list of goals and ask yourself why you want that thing or that accomplishment. It is the ‘why’ that will help you focus. That will give you the energy to get up early or stay late to accomplish something. It will help you push through opposition and delay. Know your why.
At the end of the day, who you become is more important than what you have. Personal development is key not just for yourself but for those around you. They will get the better version of you if you allow time and focus and energy to be spent on developing you. Your skill set. Your personal growth. Put this at the top of your goals list.
Beingaleader means you need to set some goals. Make it a practice that you start today.
