Inner Strength

#Beingaleader means you are someone who has inner strength. Someone with the ability to keep going when others say it can’t be done or won’t come with you. It’s the feeling of ‘no matter what’ this will be accomplished.

You need to be able to buttress yourself against the naysayers. You need to have staying power when things go wrong. Inner motivation to get up again in the morning when every part of you would rather stay in bed.

What do you feel called to do? To accomplish? What difference do you want to make in the world or in someone’s life? #Beingaleader means you hold fast to those things and pursue them with all you’ve got until you accomplish what you set out to do or you die trying.

Even visionaries cannot accomplish anything without the inner strength to fight against internal and external obstacles or opposition. The Apostle Paul said it this way “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Tim. 4:7.

#Beingaleader means you find the motivation within to make it happen not only for yourself but also for your team. You need that strength not just for you but for them. That’s a big burden to carry and it’s not for everyone but if you lead a team, a company or a family, #Beingaleader means you have to find the inner strength to do what you’re called to do and to lead others to help you accomplish it.

  1. Love this entry! The naysayers are a plenty!! And the reality is that they are usually in place to STRENGTHEN us internally if we can see them as such. Great topic!!
