Chances

Beingaleader means you need to take chances. Being bold. Trying something that might work or it might not. Be bold as you try to capture what you want for the future. It might be uncertain. It might not work. But take chances.

Calculate your decision-making. Bold doesn’t mean blind. Know what you’re risking and what you stand to gain. Ask what’s the best that could happen. Ask what’s the worst. Gather what information you can, then decide. You’ll never have every answer, so don’t wait for them. A calculated chance is still taking a chance.

Empower others. You can’t do it alone, and you shouldn’t try. Give people real responsibility. Trust them with the work, and let them own the outcome. Some will surprise you. Some will stumble. Both are how a team grows. When you lift others up, you all move forward. So, take chances.

Have courage. Fear will show up. Expect it. Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s moving anyway. Speak up when it’s uncomfortable. Try the idea people doubt. Own it when it doesn’t work, then try again. Every leader you admire has been here. So, take chances.

Beingaleader means you need to take chances. Take one today.
